Familiar bottles. A longer story.

A familiar bottle can bring a whole bathroom back to mind: the colour on a shelf, the name on a label, the product everyone in the household recognised. Packaging gives a brand’s history a shape you can remember.

A story that begins with a bath

Bathox’s roots date to 1969, with bath salts at the heart of its early story. Long before the shower gels and hand washes in the current range, the brand’s beginnings belonged to bath time.

That connection remains part of Bathox today: everyday care for the homes we come back to. The range has grown, while the place it occupies in a daily routine remains familiar.

A playful chapter

The Bathox archive includes Bath Time and Bath Fun artwork from 1985. The names capture a lighter side of the brand, and a reminder that ordinary bathroom routines can have a little personality.

Seen alongside later bottles, these pieces show how different eras expressed Bathox through colour, lettering and the names on the pack.

The bottles people recognise

Lavender, Milk & Honey and children’s bubble bath feature in the range’s later story. The archive also includes earlier hand wash, bodywash and shower gel packaging, with different label designs and care descriptions.

Our history page brings these pieces together. The heritage images have been restored from the archive to make their packaging easier to see. They show earlier designs; for current products, ingredients and availability, use the individual product pages.

Still part of the everyday

Today, Bathox is Australian made and owned, with shower gels and bath foams, hand washes and children’s bubble bath. There are different fragrances for different favourites, and individual bottles or value packs to suit the household.
